BERTIE COUNTY ó BERTIE COUNTY: It was closing time at the Be-Lo grocery store in Windsor. On Sunday, June 6, 1993, a black male suspect hid inside the store until only the manager, a clerk and cleaning crew were left.
At that point, the suspect proceeded to hold all six hostages. He used grey duct tape to bind six victims. He stacked the victims into three piles then shot into the piles.
Three of the victims died. A fourth victim was shot and injured. A fifth was stabbed and left for dead. A sixth was not hurt.

The Be-Lo murder suspect was last seen on Sunday, January 6, 1993 inside the Be-Lo grocery store in Windsor.
A reward of $30,000 is being offered to information leading to the Be-Lo murder suspectís arrest.

On Sunday, June 6, 1993, at approximately 6:15 pm., a black male, who was already in the Be-Lo Grocery Store in Windsor, N.C. used grey duct tape to bind six victims. He stacked the victims into three piles. He then shot into the piles, killing three of the victims. The fourth victim was shot, the fifth victim was stabbed and both were left for dead. The sixth victim was not hurt.

- Medium Complexion
- 30-35 years of age
- Slender Solid Build
- Military Style Haircut
- Light Brown Slanted Eyes
- Narrow Nose Bridge (possible sports injury)
